Amp Help? Kickers O.K?

So i have my Jbl GTI's and also have some rear fill. I need an amp for them. I am planning on running about 125 RMS to the GTI's. Are kicker amps any good? I was thinking about Kicker ZX800.4? Good 4 channel amp or not? Suggestions?

A suggestion, if all four speakers are 4ohm, then get a 2channel amp, and wire it down to 2ohn per side, you'll get more power, it will cost less, and sound almost exactly the same.

As for your question, kicker makes quality and reliable amps. They are considered to be on par with RF's amps. If anything, Kicker would be right under RF.

Did I read that right?....Kickers amps for one are far more reliable than any of the new shit rockford has produced. Prices are better as well as design. My kx1200.1 is only rated at 1200@1ohm and puts out 290 watts over rated power. You can tell just by opening up a rockford and kicker amp side by side that kicker is built to higher standards. Not to mention kickers warranty is far superior. Try getting a rockford amp warranteed and see the BS you go through. /rant

I believe Kicker amps are expensiver than RF. Atleast their larger amps are. The RF 20001bd comes out to be cheaper than the Kicker 2500.1 on several sites....

It should do fine. PM apollyon, I believe he still has some new in box Kicker amps.

Did i read that right???Give me a few links with amps that are comparable.Prices are not better! Do some research! As for power ratings, the t10001bd does 14xx rms average. The 20001bd does 2800 RMS average. So why is it such a big deal that your kickerr is 290rms underrated.

The rockford 20001 and the kicker 2500.1 cant really be compared. The rockford does 2100-2200 watts....the kicker is closer to 3000. There is a big difference in power and with more power comes a higher price tag.

i would take a new kicker amp over a new RF amp any day.

old school RF though... thats a different story.

where did you get that a 20001bd does 2800 average??? i had one and the birth sheet said 2280... now i have a ZX2500.1 and birth sheet says 2793...kicker is way better then the new rockford crap that just came out but we are way off subject...kicker makes good amps and you wont regret buying it...
