Amp has no power

Alright guys got it figured out. I took off the switch and spliced the remote wires together that were on the switch. Amp runs fine now. Looks like I need a new switch. Is there a special kind that I need to get?

I just want to be able to kill the amp if I'm not in the mood for a ton of bass at that time. Now it's time to get a new switch and read up on how to set the gain....although I don't see a knob on the amp listed as gain. Perhaps input sensitivity is the same thing?

There should be a subwoofer control on your headunit that can be turned off or lowered.

Why not replace that "switch" with a bassknob? Unless that amp doesn't use a bassknob then nevermind.

Toggle switches were used in the 80's/early 90's because amps didn't have the remote terminal built in. the "switch" is what turned the amp on after the HU was turned on.
