amp goes into protective mode

So my Sony XM-ZZR3301 amp will go into protective mode as soon i turn volume up. The system was previous working with no issues. I checked the fuses in the amp and neither is blown. Anyone have any ideas? I do have the subs dropped down ohms if that matters?

Low ohm load is ur problem

It was working and all sudden stopped.. I pulled the speaker wire to one of the subs and the amp still did the same thing
