Where did you lower your gain and bass boost to?

Where did you relocate your ground to?

i lowered teh gain maybe an1/8 or less down

and i moved the ground to a metal part taht the seatbelt comes from

or buy a bigger amp and sub to put out the power that you are trying to get out of the small amp and sub you have

It depends on how much bass you want. If 400 watts doesnt put out the kind of sound you want, then you will more than likely turn it up beyond its capability. The subs will handle more clean power than clipped power. I would also look into getting an amp that is designed for subs, like a d class amp. They are more effiecient and are designed to deliver more low end per dollar spent.

Probably nothing wrong with your amp, your just pushing it beyond what it was built to do.

well i just got these subs so if anything a new amp but all i could spend was around 150

and i just dont understand cuz this amp was working fine before

im gonna get a new remote wire and see if tahts teh problem
