The real problem is that you didn't specify which amp you had, which sub, power ratings, ect...

Ok, instead of replying with half-assed answers, you only make more questions, and worst of all, your just making this harder because we can't help you. Provide the specs, where your gains are set, tuning, everything, and did you set gains with an o-scope? *******...not that hard to do provide this....
