Amp gets really hot?!

hmmm reminds me of my 1st gen HCCA 225, cooked some pizza rolls on it wire to .5 ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif how is the frame to bat ground wire? its pointless to have 1/0 form amp to frame but 8ga from frame to batt

Thanks its going right now, i found a tone that was 50 hz at -3db once and i had to have my gain all the way up. i wonder what was up with that.

It should be good i have to the the floor of the trunk with 0ga also its about 12 inches long i gridded all the paint off too.
not what i was talking about... what size is it at the front near the battery up front? where the frame goes to the battery?

This is my brother and Is chevette project the circled ire is the one i am referring to, yours may not be this obvious but....

Mine is like 8ga! i was going to replace it soon, do you think thats why it gets all hot?
It could be, its absolutely pointless to have 1/0 from amp to frame then 8ga to batt....... just like having 8ga all the way... Im not sure whether it matters in your case as I was and still remain to lazy to look up the specs on your amp. People are probably going to shit on your face for that though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
