Amp for my subs?

Hey guys, not sure if this is in the right section or not, but I'm going to take my best guess. I apologize if this isn't placed right.

I just bought two Pioner TS-W3003D4's a week or two ago, because my single 12 kicker blew on me. I've been looking at a few subs online, and I've kind of confused as to which one I should get. I believe the subs run at 600 watt RMS at 1 OHM. I planned on pairing the two together to run at 1200 RMS on https://www.crutchfield.com/S-wvTaeByMJjn/p_130GMD9601/Pioneer-GM-D9601.html

This is my current go to right now, but if you guys have any other suggestions, I'd be open to hear. I'm not exactly on a budget, but I'd like to stay below ~350 for an amp. Thanks guys!

that amp is fine if you are running a sealed box. If you are running ported, i'd suggest getting something with a subsonic filter.

1600 watts at 1 OHM though, would that not over power my two 12's? They're 600 watts RMS each, and I'm also going to be running my system on a stock alternator (103 Amp) with a big 3 upgrade

idk why you think just because an amp is capable of 1600 watts means you have to use all 1600 of it. Gain setting controls how much power the sub sees and you can set it to the point where your stock system can easily handle it and the amp will be barely lifting a finger pushing your subs which keeps it cooler, and longer lifespan. Vs a smaller amp working 110% every day heating up, providing dirty power and not lasting very long.

Read up on what box rise is. Wired to 1 ohm, you'll be more around the 2-4 ohm range when music starts playing so your subs wont even see that much power anyways regardless of what amp you have. There's more to car audio than the numbers that get listed on the amps and subs.

dude those subs will handle a good 800rms each (especially after box rise) i'm only running 500rms to mine port it's loud but can take more easy.. if u running ported box u cant get the pioneer 1200, they are very good amps though many great reviews and kid in fl is running 2 sundown 15's on 1 and says it's loud as h*ll.. the cab would be fine if your alt can handle it.. i'm looking at audiopipe 1500 right now.. if u r running sealed i'd get that pioneer 1200 ive seen peeps say they tested a little better than rated power (they about $166 on amazon)
