Amp for JL W7 Wedge System

I have a JL Audio W7 12" Wedge System and I need to get an amp for it. The specs on it are as follows:

HO112R-W7

Driver(s): One 12W7-3

Continuous Power Handling: 750W

Final Impedance: 3 ohm mono

Enclosure Type: Chamber-coupled, slot-ported, rear-firing design

Finish: Dark gray carpet with red insert

Net Weight: 119.0 lbs. / 53.95 kg

Dimensions: (H) Height x (W) Width x (D) Depth 17.00 in. x 34.00 in. x 20.50 in.

432 mm x 864 mm x 521 mm

I was thinking of a JL 500/1 or a Alpine MRP-M850.

What do you guys suggest, my budget is around $300

Thanks for the reply, I think I am going to go with the 500/1 althought a few ppl have told me I should maybe go with the JL 1000/1....it costs a good amount more, do you think there will be a huge difference?

500 wRMS or Double so yea it would eD NINe.1 295 shipped right now they are on sale... free ground shipping and 5 year warranty so that pretty much fits ur needs.

those 12w7s are very efficient in those boxes. I would get a PG xenon 600.1 for it.

I copy and pasted it from the JL Site, did not bother to take the extra time to remove the color...
