They r pretty solid and affordable..i run the 800.4 .tons of power

What would you compare em to? I've heard they compare to MB Quart, but I'm hoping for a bit higher end than MB. it's either this amp or an AB 4000MD.

Well they are epsilon based amps ..which also make power acoustik and soundstream...but u cant really go off that bc each company uses diff internals from 1 to another...i havent seen anyone unhappy with a bk series amp ...other than ppl wish they made a bigger mono than the 1800

the next step up is soundqubed or ct sounds. I would not touch any american bass amp thats not a VFL series.

why wouldn't you touch one that isn't a VFL series amp?

why wouldn't you touch one that isn't a VFL series amp?

wasn't too impressed with the phantom series and some hybrid series i've come across but i guess they do fall in the lines of hifonics, and precison power. VFL series are on a whole different level of quality.

I like the CT Sounds especially with the voltage indicator base nob with clipping light, however it is 1400 watts and over $400. The PDF BK1800.1d is only $195. Is there really that big of a difference between the two amps to support paying double?

Fuuuk no lol..buy a 3 dollar ebay volt meter and set the gains right and u wont need a gimicky clip light

Don't know if you already ordered an amp, but I got a Crescendo Symphony 1500.1 for mines. Puts out about 1700@1ohm, can't wait.
