VFL Hybrid 4489 vs Q2200d

The American Bass VFL Hybrid 4480 looks to be $310ship (unauthorized I know), anyway the SoundQubed Q1-2200d is $430ship. I know the VFL is a mini which means? Is the SQ $100 better than the AB?

SQ, rather overbuilt then underbuilt when it comes to the far east. Brazilians, totally different story.

Actually as far as the Brazilian amps. Have you ever ran one Jeff ? I have. They are actually decent amps. Never had any issues with my stetsom amps. Even ran them down to 8 volts. And they still played. My sd 8000 ran for 14 months no issues ever Problem with them. Is people try running then with less than adaqate electrical and poof The sd I will say doesn't have a good xover but the stetsom did. Now mind you my Stetsoms were the older kd models not the newer versions My vfl 4480 amps , I ran 2 at 1 ohm each on a stock alt with 2 batteries. And my voltage drop was very minimal at 14.0 at most ,But on my vfl 150.1 at .7 dropped to 13.6 at most I guess it's really up to you but both are great amps. The 4480 have been clamped at 1980 I've seen

Basically im trying to get the most out of 2 HDS312's....Im just wanting to know where money would best be invested. If its not worth the extra $100 or what ever the difference would be between the 4480 and Q2200 then il jus go with the lower if the 2 as long as i could add another 1 down the way.

I know how the saying goes lol, the loud cars run korean amps, the loudest cars run Brazilian.

Basically im trying to get the most out of 2 HDS312's....Im just wanting to know where money would best be invested. If its not worth the extra $100 or what ever the difference would be between the 4480 and Q2200 then il jus go with the lower if the 2 as long as i could add another 1 down the way.

The 4480 can't be strapped. Unless you have a maxx link. So if your thinking about a second amp then the 120.1

Not playin with ya man The near Brazilian amps. Don't like over 14.4. Used you want sd. In which u strongly suggest an eq or external xover as well. Taramps I have never messed with. Also warranty is a issue with the Brazilian amps. Most repair shops won't mess with them. So with that being said Korean or Chinese I actually offer a really good warranty on most of the amps I sell. Hence the price. But I'm authorized to do so by the companies The vfl amps are strong. Very strong I've ran the Korean and Chinese versions. Both are great and you can go wrong either way. But like I said if your looking to strap a pair if them then don't get the 4480.

Yea the 4480 is off the list....ima look in to the VFL 120.1 a lil more. It would be priced in the high 400's rite?
