Well the amp doesnt work in bridged mode for some reason,so i guess i will wire them in pairs at a 2 ohm load and then each pair to a channel.How exactly do i wire them though for a 2 ohm load?Got a graphic? I just want to make sure i get these hooked up right.Thanks for the help.Trav

series parallel the subs for a 2 ohm load.

but thats for all 4.

You probably bridged it at 2 ohms. Most stereo amps can only go down to 4 ohm in bridge mode.

You have 3 choices.

1)Bridge = wire 2 speakers together in series (amp positive to sub 1 positive, sub 1 neg to sub 2 pos, then sub 2 to amp neg, this makes them an 8 ohm pair), then do the same with the other 2, then wire the 2 pairs in parallel to the amp (this makes them 4 ohm), then you should be able to mono bridge the amp with the 2 pairs of speakers.

2) wire 2 subs to each channel of the amp, for a 2 ohm load per side (this gives you a less than 125 watts per sub)

3)Buy the Hifonics or similar 1000 watt RMS @ 1 ohm mono amp.

Hey,thanks for the help.As far as my amp not being able to run bridged.I ran it for like 4 years in bridged mode then about a a month ago it stopped working.It just wants to give a constant signal to the subs and make them hit randomly.Its really odd idk what happened.It works just fine though not bridged.Im thinking i will run them in the second configuration you listed and if i dont like it i may just have to buy a new amp.Trav
