Amp For 2000W RMS

Will be driving two Alpine Type R 10's. These are the 2-ohm, DVC models. Will be wired at 2 ohms.

Trying to stay on a budget....looking a good bang for the buck amp.

Also will be re-wiring to a 1/0 gauge wire. Going in a Dodge Diesel truck.

I keep hearing great things along with great Customer service. I've personally had no experience but lost of people recommend these over Hifonics.

I'll just say the budget is $600 for now. Would like to stay under that really, but will increase the budget if absolutely necessary.

Good looking amp. Only bad thing is that it gets that power at 1-ohm, and I'll only be able to wire these down to 2-ohms.

No worries at all! And that's actually one of the amps I've been considering. I actually found it online for $499+free shipping.

I'd jump at that amp finding 2k+ rms @ 2 ohms is difficult for under $500, at least from any decent company. Alpine is the only one I know of that avoids 1 ohm amps and keeps there lowest impedance @ 2 ohms.

Alpine makes great amps, I currently use the MRP-M1000 and I love it. It's pushing 2 type Rs the old ones which are 500w rms each.
