Amp cutting out.WTF?!

I have a Kicker zx750.1 D class amp. I had been only running a single Kicker L5 solo baric to it and the amp was giving that speaker the business. However, just got a L7 rated at 750 RMS and the amp is cutting out. Tried both speakers at the same time, and the amp cut out. tried just the L5, and the amp gave it the business. Then tried just the L7, and the amp cut out. Any suggestions ????

What are the coils on the sub that cuts out? Dual 2 or 4 ohm?
