Amp connection to battery

I have a Toyota Prius and a Memphis 1000D. How would I connect the positive wire to this battery? That block is a voltage regular maintaing 14.1v and there is a 120v fuse on it.

Also is the stock ground wire ok or should I sand it down, replace with a larger guage, etc? This is a JIS standard battery with the positive post being 14.7mm wide and the negitive is 13mm wide, 325 CCA and 71 RC.

I'm kind of new to this whole audio scene but have learned alot and im betting that thats a 120 AMP fuse and yes the battery is putting out 14.1 volts thats normal.

But a 325cca battery is just puney! I would definately look into a bigger battery, something more along the lines of 500-700 cca just to be safe. I've got a 450 cca in my altima and with my system (check my sig.) i get some dimming. So since i've got some room in my battery tray I'm getting hooked up with a 900cca Interstate battery to be safe.

that's a hybrid....so stuff is different. my boss has a prius. I thought the battery was 240V???

if i'm not mistaken, the Prius uses a nickel metal hydride "traction" battery, somewhere around 202V...the '04 adds an inverter that converts that DC voltage to 500V AC.

But there still should be a 12V battery to run the 12V systems.

There is a drive battery that is 202v and a inverter that steps it up to 500v to drive the motors. Also there is a converter that steps the 202v down to 12v for all the regular 12v stuff. That picture is the 12v battery located in the back of the car. The reason the CCA is so low is that battery really doesnt do anything except start a couple of computers and maintain the remote entery. The engine, when it starts, is started by the MG1 (motor/generator) which gets its power from the drive battery. The only real option on changing the battery is a optima yellow top D51 which has a CCA of 500 and a RC of 70. Changing the battery means redoing the post connector on the block and the ground to fit the SAE standard.
