amp and sub pairing

so i just bought a box with two 10 inch mtx thunder 3000 subs. each sub is 8 ohms and 200 watt rms and 400 watt max. My amp right now has a peak of 125 rms so it sounds bad and im guessing thats the reason so i was wondering what amp do i need to get the best sound out of the box. im new at this

What is your amp, and what kind of box are they in?

The amp is a Sony xplod xm-zr1252 800 wattsand the box says R/T made in America

Wire the subs to 4 ohm and bridge the amp to them
