I have a 06 nissan frontier with a 130 amp alternator, will have kicker 1/0 wire running from front of truck to back.......with a total of three batteries, two yellow tops, and the factory one up front. I am gonna have to have my dd 9512G reconed because it arrived DOA.
That being said, i was thinking of getting a dual 1 ohm recone for it so that i could run it at 2 ohms daily, and at .5 ohms for any time i was metering it etc.
I know that i would have enough electrical to run my amp in 2ohms, but what about .5 ohms, everything i have read says they are stable all day @ .5 ohms, but i don't wanna ruin my amp.....
tips on setting this up properly will be appreciated.
