Amp 12V question

Im hooking my system up in my room and I was wondering how I should power up the 12V line on the amp? Tried searching but couldnt find the specifics.

I got the battery and the charger in place. What power source am I feeding the remote on the amp. Do I just take a small wire and attach that to the + terminal and use that as the remote?

you dont have 12v in your room. unless you power your house off car batteries.

you have 110 and 220 from a wallsocket.

I know that. Thats not what im asking. There is a remote terminal on my amp, I need to power that up if my amp is going to turn on. Do i just wire that on to the positive terminal on the battery?>

if you want your amp to turn on. if you dont, dont wire it?

make sure to hook up your remote wire so the amp turns on and off with the ignition..or put a switch somewhere inline between the battery and the amp so you can turn it on/off

why the phuck are you trying to put an amp in your room..its not going to do what you want it to do.

find a lamp, plug it in. cut the cord. strip the cord while its shocking you, shove it into the amp as fast as you can. personally, i have no experience putting car audio in a house, so let me know how it goes.

i dont know why technically..all i know is its not going to do what you want it to do. there have been threads about this before, search it.

i've done this before just for testing purposes

just do what you're thinking with a switch

it will work just fine provided the dc power supply can supply adequate current
