Amp 12V question

The yellow wire on the PSU puts out 12V DC. Is that what the remote on the amp needs?

Just wire it str8 to the positive on the battery. it kust need to see 12volts, heck its now dirrent than tapping into a swtiched fuse in a car when you dont have a aftermarket h/u. Obviously you will need to remove the wire to shut the amp off. If you want to get fancy (i doubt that using car stuff in the house) wire it thru a switch.

Amp doesnt want to turn on when I put the wire on the battery. Im going to wire up my headunit in the house here and try that tomorrow.

it should turn on. all it needs to see is a 12v signal.
