Americans, I need your help (trip planning)

I recently went back to NY for a trip, and the original trip plan was for me (19 years old) and an 18 year old friend... when we first called to book, everything was fine, we were getting that room no matter what.

My friend ended up cancelling on the trip and I got another friend who is 21, and we got the hotel, but it was still all under my name... a 19 year old. They never mentioned a thing about any age you had to be... they just wanted a credit card.

thats kind of up to you... if they check that means you are screwed. have an adult (or say you are the adult and your kids are going) call up the hotel and see what they can do. and the HOB kicks ass. who are you seeing there?

from my experience it seems like ghetto motels dont really give a ****..They want ID and a CC...the nicer the hotel the more likely they are to start requiring ****. Try like a motel 6 or super 8 and dont mention anyone is under 18.
