American bass xr or xfl 12?

I cant decide between these two subs. Ab xr 12 or the xfl 12. I will be giging it 1500 watts. So which one and why.

You will want the XR.

The XR is basically a slightly more expensive version of the XFL. It has better soft parts and is a little more musical (XR is the best overall sub that american bass makes).

XFL will play a little louder and a little lower. The XR is designed for flat (most musical) sound.

ive owned both.

the xfl will slam hard as hell. and get loud and low.

the xr slams also but overall it just sounds better honestly. they both are pretty good subs for the price that comes with them. compared to other subs out there in that price range.

it is noticeably louder imo by ear and hits a lot harder. ive never metered any of my setups. no into comp just daily bumpers.

i have friends that have told me that my xrs dont slam as hard or loud as the xfls. , ive noticed a little as well. and for more than one person to tell me that gives me reason to believe that the xfl is overall louder.

maybe if someone has built builds with both subs and have metered can chime in.. op has to clarify what he wants tho. spl or clarity. because both sound good from these 2 lines of subs.

Not loud, aint touching that sh*t. CSCstang made his XFLs have amazing bandwidth from double kick pedal high midbass medal to 19hz, sound amazing on any music and got loud.
