these lil woofer kick ***! they can handle 500 no problem and have a good deal of excusrion(17mm) and they are very efficient..

I just had the 10's , i liked them, very nice quality woofer. The one thing i didnt like was that they have tinsel slap...no stitched tinsels, that led me to sell them.

Do you have a box design yet for your XFl 15s? I'm looking for a new box for mine.

yeah i threw together some plans, just played around to see what i could get. I came up with three revised plans (probably wont be the last) but came out to 7 cubes net with 15.1 sq inches per foot port area, and tuned to 31.6hz.. i will most likely throw that down to 30hz though.

Because I asked @CSCStang a while back for a design and he recommended 8.1 cubes with 14 sq inches of port per cube tuned at 31 iirc

i think i asked him about my design too and he said mine was good. with that amp, i wonder why he suggested so big , maybe he can chime in. I would defiently take his word over mine he has far more experience and the same subs haha i had always built my boxs with around 14 sq inches but people started telling me to raise it to 15 because 14 was to small.

I don't know then, hopefully he is doing it soon. Because I don't need to mess this up.

easy fix. felt pad on the cone

it had some already on there.. one fell off but denim sent me another one, it helped that one but still continued on both

if your interested i have a HDC3 motor with a custom recone, 200+ shipping.. dual 1ohm just played with 300 watts to conform it works fine..

really? who did you get the recone from to make it custom? and will it take more power now?

Yes and no

i told psi what i wanted. they put the cones surround and spiders on the former/coil and i just aligned the coil and glued the spiders and surrounds down.. its going to handle a-bit less mechanically and a bit more terminally over the regular copper coil(base model) i re-coned it because i really hated the dry sound from the mechanical distortion. i intended on putting it in a 3.5 tuned to 32 hz box for a more musical alignment. as id recommend something similar unless you want a peaky woofer that is just loud as **** around tuning..
