American bass xd or tnt 15" is there a big difference??

So i am fairly new here so please bare with me. My current set up is 2 12" American bass tnt on a vfl 100.1 big 3 and second battery in back.My question is i am looking to upgrade to 15" and when looking are the American bass xd that more different than the 15" tnt?

2 15's is quite a bit more cone area than 2 12's. Even on the same amp you should be noticeably louder than the 2 12's provided you have room for a proper ported box. You might want to look at upgrading the amp a bit. The xd's are rated at 700 a pc. and your 12's are rated at 600 a pc. Although, I'm sure like most of AB's products you could probably throw a 1000 a pc. at them provided your electrical is up to snuff.
