Are these subs under rated?

i was looking at running on @ 2 ohm off an 08 Model Audioque 1200d

Which is 875 rms @ 2 ohms

The sub is rated at 500 rms'

They can take a little more than 500 but I would be careful giving it that much. Are you limited to only the XD or what?
