American Bass VFL

So, im at a local comp last week and this guy rolls up in a honda civic with 2 American Bass VFL 12's in bass tubes. I had never heard of American Bass subs and havent heard of anyone using bass tubes in a long time. I kinda chuckled to myself as he went up against a truck with 4 18" MT's . I about s**t myself when the civic hit 154.7 db beating the 4 18's by a db or 2.

2 12's in bass tubes doing 154.7 ??? I have no idead what kind of power he had to them or at what frequency he burped at but i must say i was kind of impressed

youve never heard of american bass? admittedly they are very loud, in fact the vfl in the title stands for very fu**ing loud. interesting he had them in tubes, ive got 12" pvc and ive been considering it for a long time. ive used their stuff, good stuff.

It is a white CRX and his name is Vernon Sargent. And he also did a 155.8 this weekend in Amherst which is the top score in the US this year in street B.

wassup bigoso, This is jason. U helped me with the bass race. I had the convertable camaro. when is the next comp in brookpark? If im not workin ill be there. I'm also gonna have a new box tuned a little higher so i might be able to give you a little better run in the next bass race.

Jason the next comp in brookpark is on the first Saturday in August. There is one this saturday in Wooster at the best buy. I hope you can make it out. Hopefully you can get a good start with your HU this time.
