12'' W0 vs the W3 (JL help!!)

Im not sure what im doing. I have it narrowed down to the 12W0-4 or the 12W3v2-D4.

I know that it seems right to go with the W3 just because it takes more power, right?

Well, after watching some videos on Realm Of Excusion, it looks like the W0 is a great sub. And I have a car, so this will be in the trunk. I will also cut a hole in the back deck so I can hear it better. And as space is limited, I cna only get one sub, and probably will have to be sealed.

Just thoughts between the two please?

Well on the whole system.. Maybe about 1200. That includes four speakers, two amps (sub and speakers) new head unit and the sub.

I planned at first about 400 for the sub and enclosure.

And it seems general thought is the W3. I want more SPL, but I do realize that im on a low budget, so im not gonna get great stuff.

Also how might the Type E compare with these?

Still lays the problem of the space. Thats why I can only do one sub, space issues. Even though a 10 might be smaller, two takes up more area then a single 12. And area is the problem, not height. I HIGHLY don't recommend you get any of those subs you listed, but if I had a gun to my head...w3.

Visonik's sound good to me (dual 12'') and I know that everyone here hates anything prefab. But I like them.

If you were to compare them to that, is there any way the W3 could sound better/get louder then the Dual Visonik setup? (Because like I said, I like the sound of them) Not that ive heard much else - Because I havent, haha

And I mean compare, as the single W3 to the dual 12'' Visonik Bandpass.

Thats true. But I wont be able to sound test if I order over the internet. Maybe ill go around town someday, checking and sound testing the stuff in the shops.

But can you explain something to me? How does a sub sound bad as opposed to good? Can you hear, static, or disortion, or its just not as loud, or what?
