American Bass VFL-80.1 amp Wiring (NEED HELP)

hey guys I'm in the market for a new amp and i came across the vfl-80.1. looks great and wanted to pair it with 1 sundown sa 12 D4. my question is how would i wire it? on the website it only says 1 ohm. since I'm running a single D4 how would i wire this to get the 1000w? little confused here. if anyone who has owned these amps can help me on this that would be appreciated.

You can't, unfortunately.

Two 4 ohm coils can only be wired to 8 ohms (in series) or 2 ohms (in parallel), so you'd need to look for an amp that does the 1,000W you want @ 2 ohms.

Then you'd wire it like this:

Check the classified section. Someone has a kicker zx1000.1. That would be a perfect match for that sub.

What about the mb quart onyx series? Those any good? I currently have 4awg as 0 gauge is almost impossible to run in my car, so my options are very limited
