Hey all, new member here. Looking for feedback on new wiring. I found some helpful stuff in searching and a sticky helped me decide on wire. This is what I have

2001 vert Cobra

Pioneer 5600

Kicker zx350.4 amp

(old school) Clarion dpx 1000.2 amp

2 sets of Polk Audio DB6501 components

JL Audio 10" HO Wedge W3V3

2 Stinger d blocks 1 4awg in 2 4awg out

So, realistically, I will be running(assuming rated rms is true) the kicker amp at 360w, which is 90w to each component - 1 woofer 1 tweeter, 2ohm load. As well as one channel on the clarion amp in 2ohm load @ 450rms. For a total of 810w rms. (I will not be using the second channel on the clarion amp.)

This stuff I already have, if you have opinions on it feel free to share.

What I am looking to buy is new wiring. I am currently using old RF rca's, fuse holder/fuse, generic brand speaker wire and power/ground. I currently have an alpine deck with my components in. The amp is coming out of storage and the box is new as well as the pioneer deck and the d blocks.

Deck wires are already soldered up, deck tested and working good. Actually getting some better SQ then the prior deck which is nice.

The wiring in question, or in cart I should say lol, is as follows, and this is where I want your advice.

Silver Plated 100 Amp ANL Fuse

In-Line Waterproof ANL Fuse Holder w/ Fuse Fuse Type 1: 100A

Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Red Power/Ground Wire 30'

Kolossus Fleks Kable 4 Gauge Black Power/Ground Wire 10'

Karma SS 4 Channel 4 Meter RCA Cable

Karma SS 2 Channel 4 Meter RCA Cable

Karma SS 16 Gauge Speaker Wire 100'

Karma SS 12 Gauge Speaker Wire 8'

I think I gave complete info lol. How does this look? Aside from having a little extra.. more is better than not enough imo.

Thanks.

If you are planning one run of 4 GA to a distro to run 2 amps, I suggest a 125 amp fuse, not 100. Knu is a good choice for what you listed. I would be concerned about using that sub amp though. You should try to swap or sell it and get a 400-500 watt 2 ohm stable mono block. If you're running one sub, that amp should be bridged and it would be too much I believe. Try to use the shortest ground possible and make sure you ground each amp separately. Ground both to bare metal.

Thanks, the idea is down the road to get a new amp, 500w mono block, I was going to just run what I had for now. As far as the grounding, my plan was to ground both out through a distro, sounds like that's not a good idea though? If I ground separately they will be about 2-2.5 feet tops, which I think is fine right?
