American Bass VFL 200.1

well today i just pick up a american bass sq440. i'm plan to get a american bass vfl 200.1 soon ( if i can find one and my taxs free money comes soon). i plan to use this amp to power 2 fi bl 18s. i was wanting to know is there any bad things i should know bout this amp before i go on a hunt looking for one?

nothing bad about the 200.1. Its just going to be hard to find a new one because they aren't making them anymore. The one that replaces it is called a 175.1 and its significantly cheaper new then the 200.1. The 200.1 and 150.1 that I had were both bulletproof.

the 175.1s will do about 2500-3000 watts rms. they are very strong amps. if you have a healthy electrical system they are almost bulletproof. xenon built.
