These seem fairly new....Like I only see them on CarStereoGiant.com, not even on AB's site (I'm on mobile so IDK). Anyway, Where would these fall in, in the Wide World of Amps? I figure there not competition grade, but 2800w for $429? Thts got'a be a max rating....

Says max. But I don't know for sure. I can call bob and find out tomorrow

Im thinking that's RMS

AB 1800.1

CT Sounds 900.1

CT Sounds 1400.1

board looks slightly less beefy than the CT 1400.1 which is 1800 rms, but that could be due to this new hybrid technology that AB uses

Definitely doubt it's anything less than 1k

Does anyone know if these are real? And if they are will they take .5 like the other AB amps? Im thinking about switching my 4480 out for this if its worth it..

They will do .5 ohm easily, and the are considered to be rms rating they are a extremely efficent amp but with a fuse rating of 120 amps on the 1800.1 Id say they cant quite do rated power also the elite 2800.1 has 0 gauge wire inputs for power and ground
