Is this the right amp for my sub?

I have a Lanzar OPTI1232D 12" 2ohm sub. rms 1100 peak 2200. Here is the link:

I have been looking at a precision power ba5000.1d but I am wondering if I can get away with a ba2600.1d. Heres the link to both if you want to take a look:

Does anyone have any other suggestions for amps in the $150-200 price range? I think I touched my + and - wires together on accident and fried my rockford p1000-1bd amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/redface.gif.62fdbfe1a101588a808c4cff71bcb942.gif Is this fixable? Worth it?

The ba's are actually getting good reviews. I have a 5000.1 that I haven't used yet. Wire that sub parallel to 1 ohm and the 2600 will be more than enough. The Fosgate is most likely fixable. What's it doing exactly?

The amp would be very hot, the power lights werent lighting up, there was a burnt smell, and it was not powering the sub. There are no onboard fuses and the fuse under the hood seems like its intact.

Yeah those Fosgates don't run onboard. Sounds like it's toast for sure. Depending on what needs replacing, it might not be worth it.

No, that's series, which will give you a 4 ohm load. Wire + from amp to + on both vc's. Do the same for the -
