It worked out pretty good.....did a 149.8 with absolutely no testing and a box not designed for my car again.
Gained 2.7 dbs from just this amp....same batt setup and all....i need more wire now and with some testing should be able to get a 151ish....i dont even know my peak hz with this box yet

147.1 - Sundown 1500@ .7ohm and 50hz ntoe

149.8 - AB 500.1 @ .7 and 50hz again

This amp will work for what i need right now,runs ice cold at .7 and only one batt in back

And i played it a good bit the night before...now to hook up the other one sitting in living room and get them to .35 ohm....ill have vid maybe tomm of my run

i think my electrical is pretty good for them as well, kinetikk 1400 upfront, 200A EA alt, 2/0 wire, 2 2400s in trunk....

i ran the soundstream xxx6500D before this, and at full tilt and idle i woudlnt dim at all. so hopefully this can keep the voltage up in 13s and actually get somewhat near 5000rms.

i HEAR the soundstream only did about 2700rms.....i know a direct swap opti4000D for soundstream, the opti was WAY louder to the ear. (only for 1 comp tho, bassraced 39.9 but bad song and no testing lead to me overshooting)

the soundstream did a 42.7 car off, 43.xx car on....(2 15" btl's in trunk car facing forward //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif )

Try one 15 forward and ports to driver side...seems to be a good start for most trunk cars ive seen and tried

Try one 15 forward and ports to driver side...seems to be a good start for most trunk cars ive seen and tried

yea i was a little surprised at 43......but i do have stock head unit......so that should put me around 45 im guessing....

yea it was at like 42hz.....

im not into competing, just hard daily beating, TL numbers are just for the fun of it...that was sealed up at the dash btw.

the 15s were tuned a little high too, didnt like it, and since i broke my box....(snapped the screws etc etc) they are rebuilding and fiberglass resin the inside of the box. also tuning lower.....cant wait to see the flex now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

and from what ppl have told me about testing the ss 6500 on 12v, each sub was probably seeing like 1300rms....hopefully the ab give about 2000-2500rms each.

Yehh they should..i may go clamp my amp in a bit to get an idea at what it rises to from .7

Most say about 4500ish @ .5 ohm soo who knows

i thought it was 4700 @ 1ohm and 14v

clamp it before wednesday and let me know....if its not doing more then 4500 i may not get it.....

Well im sure it would be 4700 @ 1 ohm reactive....but it prolly rises to 3ohm or something

Ill try to clamp it tomm if it doesnt rain
