your trunk..

and mine...

same size. Mine fits a 4^3 net enclosure thats 16.5"h x 20.5"d x 36"w.

Barely gets in through the trunk opening, but gets in. Without a prybar, lol.

edit: also fits inbetween the trunk lid hinges. thats important, too. I honestly believe this is the largest box that can be built outside the car and then installed.

what my idea was, build the biggest box possible and put it in through the back seats. 13 inches tall, and make it as wide and deep as possible..what you think

you can get a box, with the dimensions i listed, in through the trunk. You won't want your amps the way i have em, though. This week(while I'm lining my whole trunk with Audiotechnix //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) I'm mounting them to the back of the enclosure, and moving the enclosure a couple inches toward the rear.

Here's what I am trying to achieve his goals and be efficient as well one build not multiple he does have a kid so some trunk space is also nice trust me I know I have kids. Overall he has a 4 cube box in there now it's not what he's liking so in short it's not what he's looking for.

Mine has 60 inches of port area, and is tuned @ 32. digs pretty dang low, too. Maybe you should consider a single 15, Ben. Has more cone area than two tens, and no sub cancellation to waste your powah on.

Didn't see this post til after I posted. maybe the net volume wasn't the problem though? Just an idea.

Edit: Tens or a single twelve sounds right with a kid in the equation, though.

Can't say I didn't build it I just know its a 4 cube tuned 33hz 8" sonotube and not doing like he wants which I was pretty sure would happen. I am very positive I can get exactly what he wants out of a good pair of 10's without wasting time or his money I don't like doing that trying to squeeze this or that to make it work better to go with what will fit properly and allow for a proper design I notice your are running a single sub it's digging deep do to the fact it's in a large efficient box tuned low its how it goes slap another in there and see how it changes. Or slap a small 2 cube box in there tuned 32 it will change it's sound quite a bit.

The trunk opening ***** inside trunk is large catch 22 glad we are on the same page and glad you tried to help not many do nowadays it's more of a troll fest a lot of times.
