lol, i still love you you seem to think i dont have any grasp of how ip's work. again, i had no idea the 2 of you work together, i did not do a whois search for your ip, i simply did a search to see what ip's were under the other guys name and yours came up as well. get off your dam high horse and realize there is far more to worry about in life than who's right on this forum. now as far as editing posts, mods do not have an edit post function on this forum. yes, there are ways to manipulate the system to edit it, but i have never done it w/out it showing i edited it.

2)I am not, and haven't been at work.

I'll remember that i'm "stealing" my paycheck the next time I work 17 hours on a sunday with no compensation for it (happens all the time). You don't know me, don't jump to conclusions again.

In other words, I call bullshit. If it is true, then you have the wrong temperment for state work.

From 8:00am to 11:59am you drink coffee and dream about lunch with the other guys wearing short sleeve dress shirts and clip on ties.

From 1:00pm to 4:30pm you clear your desk and generally prepare for ending the day.

It does not shock me that you are not at work this week. You get what, one day off for every day "worked?"

Sadly your generalizations are part correct, that is how it is for some state workers.

My job simply cannot be performed in that way, unless I wanna work on a helpdesk and answer phones 8-5, but thats no fun to me.

Im a network engineer, just like one that would work for a private company, I would not have this job if I refused to do stupid things like spend whole weekends at work to get things done while no one else is on.....It's the nature of the job, state or otherwise.
