ill try big three for now but i would really like a new alt also, so if lights dont dim to bad does that mean stock alt will be ok?

that's one guage... if it's dimming though your overstraining your electrical system which will lead to alt failure eventually and I've heard it can damage amps (don't quote me on this). Voltage drops are bad but if ya can't afford a new alt right now do the big three... I doubt the rio is using more than 8 guague to move that 80 amps around, do the big 3 in 0 guage so you won't have to redo it later...
