alternator

Mean-Green is excellent, only problem is M-G does not have 300amp alternators.

OhioGen BLOWS anymore, they used to be great... but when I worked for a shop (We were an authorized OhioGen retailer)... I must have replaced near a dozen of their alternators. They seem to go bad after a year... or just **** right out of the box.

I highly recommend, Mean-Green, Stinger, Powermaster, H-O Alternators...

That's it.

nG

$500 for a 300amp from dom, but i went with the 280amp for $480 because it had more output at idle than the 300.

theres plenty of mixed reviews about him, but my alt has been great, and i was actually able to contact him the only time i ever needed too

I bought 2 iraggi alts used, both work fine, plus he supported some of my tech questions after the fact, even when he knew I bought used

seems like many have issues getting a hold of him, but when Ive needed to it was easy.

what vehicle is it for?

it may be a more viable option if you get a dual alt kit, and use to oem alts, youd probably have better results than using a 300amp daily.. probably better output @ idle
