cheaper to get it rebuilt but the person that does it has to know what they are doing. i couldnt find any shops that would rebuild mine to HO for me so i had to go aftermarket

I agree, you have to take it to a reputable shop that has a rep for doing it. I've seen a lot of bad hack jobs.

what website should i go to to find a decent one? or does it matter on the vehicle? i have a 05 frontier and the stock alt is 110 amps.
