i previously had the RCA's that go to my mono block connected to my EQ along with my 4 channel RCA's. I disconected the RCA's that go to my mono block from the EQ and connected them to HU. The noice was gone after that.

Like i said, I had the same deck with the same amp for 9 months, no problem.. i just re-arranged my trunk, and it happened.....

which points me to the hu being the issue. try grounding the rca shielding and see if it goes away....

do like they say it seems to work on the pioneers. when you said you tried the ipod straight to amp and the noise was gone that leaves the noise coming from up front. if you do like he said and the noise doesn't go away then come back tomorrow and i'll tell you the next step to isolating the problem.
