Ok, I reinstalled my JL 450/4 in

and I appear to have an alternator wine....

Idk what, as the RCA's never come closer then 2 feet to the power wire....

THe closer wire is the 0 guage and distro block that is to the right side of the amp. other then that idk wtf. I ran thru all of my wiring and can't find it. WTF!

How do I fix it?

I've never had this before //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

first we check all the wires especially the ground make sure they are good grounds. then we need to locate if the whine is from the amp the wires or the deck. if your grounds are good then we go to the amp take out the rcas, is the noise still present? if you have a portable cd player get you a 3.5 to rca adaptor and plug it into the amp is the noise still present? if not then it's something from rca up to deck. so get you a long set of rca's and run it from deck to amp but not installed just over the carpet. is the noise still there? if yes then it's in your deck.

can you hear the alt wine through the speakers? if so mine is like that, its the RCA's that go to my mono amp that causes my wine, i had them hooked up to my EQ along with my 4 channel on the EQ, i switch the RCA's to my sub output(the RCA's the go to mono amp) on my HU and it stoped. prety **** weird.

what kind of hu is it?
Pioneer AVH 5900 dvd
