**** alternator whine.

OK, when i start my car, here comes the loud and annoying alternator whine. It is horrible and i need to fix it fast.

I have my rca's and power wire all running on the same side, could that be the problem or is it likely something else?

Most likely ur head unit is not grounded properly...

Try hooking up an ipod straight to ur amps and see if they do it... if not, then u know it's not the amp's ground.

i believe the hu is grounded through the wiring harness, is that the problem?

just ground ur rca outputs on the back of the deck my pioneer got it from user error and grounded the rcas and it went right away

There is a sticky that covers this. Your HU is a pioneer, so this fix will probably work for you.

i had the same problem, i replaced the rca's with a 4ch triple shielded monster cable.. no more alt wine...

thank god cuz it was driving me crazy
