recently hooked up my multichannel amp and ever since then its been making an engine whine...i never heard the sound with just my headunit in. now that i hooked up the multichannel amp ive been hearing it ever since, what could it be?

Check the grounds to the amplifier and also run a extra grounding to the head unit just to be safe.

Could be RCA's also. I had that problem and I switched out mine and it went away.
