Alternator Whine -- Bad Wire?

I have a very slight alternator whine from my comps, but it bugs the hell out of me. (Amp: RF 600.4 bridged Comps: Crystal Mobile)

I upgraded from cheapo scosche 5ga to 8ga dual amp kit to 4ga Stinger to 4ga wiring. There was no whine at all at the intial set up, it formed after I installed the new wire.

I am using the same amp ground (.03 ohm resistance), Same HU Ground (.03 ohm resistance) same interconnects etc.

Heres what I've tried:

- Grounding HU to battery

- Grounding Amp to battery

- New interconnects

- Running amp from outside car

- Grounding the RCAs

All to no avail, grounding the RCAs might have helped slightly.

The sound stops when the interconnects are disconnected from the amp or from the HU.

Could the wire be bad?

HELP ME!?
