would this fuse be good under the hood for these amps i have 4 gauge wire i had 100 amp fuse it kept poppin the amps are linked running @ 1ohm i dont know how much power is being put out because the directed guide says dont run 2 amps under 2ohms but they would play good till i got my hu up to 20/40 the fuses would pop so would the 300 amp be good each amp has 3 30 amp fuses

First of all, I can hardly understand what the **** you just wrote. And second of all, It would be ill advised to run 300A off 4awg. You need AT LEAST 1/0 for that much current.

150A is the max recommmended for 4 gauge. (shorter runs can carry more current as it's relative to distance as well).

first off the fuse up front is NOT to protect the amp, its to protect the battery.

you should have a fused distro block in the back that is fusing the amps individually

fuse the fron with a 150 amp anl, then fuse the rear distro block woth factory recomended fuses.

remember a fuse will hold DOUBLE its rated power for a good period of time, any where from 1-3 minutes before blowing, give or take.

but you should have more then a 4 guage running from the battery to the back, use a 0 guage, you are starving your amps, there are problems with starving the amp you are draining all the power input caps on the amps board and then you run the risk of blowing some of the power supply on the amps because of starvation
