Alternator Upgrade?

Has anyone ever upgraded the charging system on a 90-93 Mustang? I've tossed around the idea of a high-amp alternator, but also thought about running dual alternators. If anyone could share any experience on this subject it would be greatly appreciated. Things such as price and difficulty would be nice. Thanks

u have many options to choose from. most auto parts stores carry different amperage alternators. but u could start with a farad cap($60.00), it's the cheapest way to go.or u could get a dual battery wiring kit($?), one for your car and one for your system. having 2 alternators can have its benefits though. but they can get tricky and expensive to install. so if you want to change altenators, start with getting one that puts out more than 100 amps. i have a 105 amp alternator($185.00) that powers 2- 600 watt amplifiers just fine. hope this helps with your problem.
