Alternator Upgrade Success

Just installed my H.O. Alternator and did my Big 3 Upgrade. Whenever I used to turn the volume up the headlights would dim big time and id get major voltage drops. Now I can drive at night with the volume cranked and have every power consuming thing in my car turned on at the same time and the lights never flinch. Not only that, the stereo pounds alot harder. I had to lower the input level to compensate for the increased power flow. Im still getting 14.1-14.2 volts at idle, didnt think i would with a H.O unit, usually they dont have much power till you wind em up. Id have to say im pretty pleased.

im glad that worked out for u. im waiting on mines to come in. i ordered a iraggi alt. Undercoverpunk said he will help me out if i need assistance. i hope mines performs well, we got to meet up sometime

where did you get it? is there an offical loadboss website? i've been trying to find a place that will build me a direct replacement HO alt but to no avail so far. my car is too old, and the engine bay is too small apparently.
