alternator rewound?

im currently installin all my components and a third amp and also rewirin my 2 jbl amps wit 0 gauge wire

my question is i got a 99 oldsmobile bravada, i have a us acoustics 4085 wit 4 gauge wire and 2 jbl 1200.1 wit 0 gauge wire hooked up to an optima red top......should i get my alternator rewound??

i currently have the stock alternator, not sure exactly how many amps it puts out but its somewhere between 100 and 150 i think

it's probably a 105 amp alternator

If you have one JBL 1200.1 you'd probably need a new alternator....but you definitely will with two of them

im gonna need to get my alt rewound 2(its 60a stock). i was wondering where i could look to get it done? like what would i look for say in the fone book? also are there any pros and cons to gettin an alt rewound? thanks.

talk ot dom of iraggi alternators, the producers of the 'Dominator" alts. Dang, I forgot his email addy...

VERY cool guy, rebuilds your alt, cleans the casing ((if you send him a defunct casing), 1 year warranty, idle output made to produce more over stock alt, doesn't surge.

His prices are deemed reasonable to many and I don't know where exactly, but it was in a non-cosmopolitan area...

btw, Dominick Iraggi is THE Iraggi of the MECA placement system, also the one who holds the record for highest ever score on the dreaded linX mic. He knows what alt you need for a car audio system, I say he's more than knowledgable.

(gotta get some SPL dust from him too)
