I am considering buying a high output alternator for my 2007 Mazda 6 and I was wondering if you guys think I should get it externally regulated. I am most likely going with a 225 amp Excessive Amperage H.O. Alt. I am planning to run more power in the future; upwards of 8k. What do you think, why or why not?

Thanks

...if your running 8k power wise, youll need a beefier alt. try a 250. id go with mechman instead of EA aswell. ive heard alot of bad stuff about them

also, what system are you thinking of?

and how many g31 batts will you have in the back?
