is there any way to have 2 alternators and 2 batteries... one running the car's electrical system and the other (of higher output) run only the stereo system? if so... is this more sufficient that just one high output alternator? also... would i need a different belt system? how would that work?

any ideas?

what do u mean running serious power??? that is what the alternator does...produces power. it is very difficult to add another alternator...your best bet is to just get a single High Output alternator and get a yellow top battery to replace your old one.

Power in terms of his amps.....they'd need to be drawing some serious power in order for a dual alt. setup to be necessary.
