so looked at if for a while reved engine up and held it at 2000rpms, still nothing, used volt meter and stuck it on back of alt and gropunded it ...nothing, i wasnt gonna give up yet messed around with it for a littlw bit more and finally gave up because i have to be at work in a little, so put stock back in and ran same wire put plug in and bgolted it back down, everything runs fine like it did, i did the exact same thingwith the big alt as the little, but still nothing, i dont really know im going to talk to nathan and ask him if he knows what might of happen, and does anyone know if autozone/ any other auto place can test alternators without them being on your vehicle

i got an EA alt and contacted Nathan about it, he paid shipping both ways and fixed it in about a week and a half. What a nice guy.

Mine had the same problem... he says that the voltage regulator was busted

well its fits right on my blazer so it should fit theirs, my dad said the voltage regulator was busted when it wasnt doing anything but i dont know jack squat about alts

They don't put your alternator in a Blazer to test it.

They have a machine that basically straps any alternator in place and then cranks the ... crank a bit and it says how much power it is putting out

And if it's a Blazer they should have your harness. (That is, the wires that go to the Alternator that arent power and ground)
