you stating that it is a hissing type sound tells me that first your gains are TOO high-------- set your gain structure correctly

I've got 2 sony amps (4*75 and 2*100, both are 1 ohm selectable) I have a 16 cm JBL GT component system and a 12 inch rockford power dvc hooked to those amps. I must say that in the hurry yesterday i messed up all the cables, in the sense of throwing all together in the booth. But i've got 5mm2 speaker wire and triple shielded rca. 20MM2 positive and ground.

How do i adjust gain settings?

best regards,

charles

I found it! One of the ground wires wasn't attached properly! A stupid mistake. But i can tell that the new RF woofer plays excellent in the vented encosure i designed for it. Thanks for responding.
