alternator help

i have a 97 ford probe gt 2.5 with a 90 amp alternator i have an avionixx nxd 2400m amp with 130 amp draw 1200wrms 2 treo 12's tsx 800 wrms in a 3.2 ported box would i need a bigger alternator or just another battery in the back or nothing but stock any help plz because i just replaced my stock 90 amp alternator

Depends how much you have to spend, and what you plan on doing in the future.

If you plan on upgrading at all in the future, save yourself the hassle, and just get a HO alt now.

If your cheap, and want a quick upgrade, and probably gonna keep the system like this for awhile. Grab a kinetik 2400 or similar outta the classifieds

you are probably going to want a bigger alt and another batt would hurt either.

A 2400 or so would, maybe keep a battery tender on it at nights or something. I'm running fine with system in sig (1800w, kinetik 1800, stock alt) and it's doing fine.

I have a 2000 Elantra and I had a 90amp stock alternator on the car. I bought a powermaster 200 amp alt and had a bracket faved up to fit the new alt. works great. I spent about $600 for everything. Well worth the money

Get as big as you can fit/find/afford.
